Status - Explanation

 

The status tells you exactly where the event is in the EOL process.

 

THE ROLES:

 

Event Organizer – the staff, faculty or student who is putting on the event

 

Scheduler – the staff member whose job it is to schedule campus venues for events

 

University Officials – staff members who provide services to events and review events to make sure the Event Organizer knows where to order services

 

EH&S – The Fire Marshal and Environmental Health Program Manager at the Environment, Health and Safety department who review events to make sure the events meet fire and food safety standards

 

Authorizer – The Event Organizer’s Center for Student Programming Advisor or departmental senior official who authorizes the event to take place

 

RCO – Registered Student Organization

 

THE STATUSES:

 

Scheduler is Initiating Registration

Scheduler Delayed in Initiating Registration     

Information Needed from Event Organizer

2nd Notice: Info Needed from Event Organizer

Action Required to Reactivate EOL  (the Event Organizer did not submit EOL in allotted time)

Scheduler Delayed in Reactivating EOL  

Under Review by University Officials

Under Review by EH&S  

Info Required by EH&S  (EH&S reviewer has requested additional event information from Event Organizer)

EH&S Delayed in Response

Event Denied by EH&S  (EH&S reviewer did not find the event condition acceptable)

Under Review by Authorizer

Under Review by Alternate Authorizer  (Authorizer did not review in allotted time)

Info Required by RCO Primary Authorizer  (RCO Authorizer has requested additional event information from Event Organizer)

Info Required by RCO Alternate Authorizer (RCO Alternate Authorizer has requested additional event information from Event Organizer)

Event May Cancel - Authorization Needed  (Neither the Authorizer nor Alternate Authorizer have responded in the allotted time – EOL is past due)

Confirmed  

Event Denied by Authorizer  (Authorizer did not find the event conditions acceptable)

Event Cancelled  (Event Organizer decided not to hold the event)
